On February 1, the inaugural meeting of the Professional Committee on Project Cost and Law of China Construction Education Association, co-initiated by Jiangxi Construction Industry Association and 15MCC, was solemnly held in Nanchang, Jiangxi Province.

The conference brought together more than 90 entities nationwide from sectors including construction owners, construction contractors, law firms, engineering consulting firms, arbitration institutions and mediation institutions, to witness the establishment of the professional committee and jointly explore a new path for the integrated development of "project cost + law". The meeting deliberated and adopted the list of standing committee members, and elected the Chairman, Vice Chairmen and Secretary-General of the committee. Among the elected officials, Zhang Yisong, General Manager of 15MCC, was elected Executive Deputy Chairman of the professional committee; Cai Jun, Deputy Director of the Commercial Contract Department of 15MCC, was elected Vice Chairman; and Xu Jianhua, Director of the Legal and Risk Control Department of 15MCC, was elected Deputy Secretary-General.

As the construction industry steps into a new stage of high-quality development, interdisciplinary talents proficient in both engineering project cost and legal risk management have become the driving force for the industry's transformation and upgrading. The newly established Professional Committee on Project Cost and Law is the 27th branch institution of China Construction Education Association, and also the first professional committee of the association led and established by enterprises. The approval of 15MCC as an initiator fully reflects the industry's high recognition of its capabilities and contributions in the fields of project cost and legal practice. As one of the co-initiators of the professional committee, 15MCC is not only an active practitioner of the integrated concept of "project cost + law", but will also deeply participate in and promote the implementation of various work of the committee.

In the future, 15MCC will join hands with all sectors of society with a more open attitude to jointly build an industry-university-research-application collaborative ecosystem and continuously promote the high-quality development of the industry.
