Golden autumn brings yet another triumph! In October, Sinomine Katoonba Project achieved a mining and stripping volume of 3.68 million tons, setting a new monthly record since the project’s launch. To date, the project has completed 14.31 million tons of its annual 20-million-ton production plan, with 5.69 million tons remaining. This breakthrough, achieved just before the rainy season, has laid a solid foundation for reaching the annual target and effectively alleviated subsequent production pressure.
The production breakthrough this month was attributed to the project team’s scientific planning and meticulous management. By leveraging the favorable conditions at the end of the dry season, the team optimized equipment scheduling, strengthened production organization, and ensured efficient coordination across all processes. Through the implementation of the "daily targets securing weekly targets, weekly targets securing monthly targets" production strategy, the project maximized equipment potential and enhanced operational efficiency. Coupled with continuously improved safety and quality management systems, these efforts provided reliable support for high and stable output.
Currently, the project has completed over 70% of its annual plan, with less than 30% of the target remaining, securing valuable buffer time to prepare for the upcoming rainy season. The project team has already developed comprehensive rainy season production plans, covering equipment protection, road maintenance, and safety protocols. With high morale, the entire team is now fully committed to achieving the annual 20-million-ton target.
